The book that started one of the best Vampire series ever written. This book was first released as a Paperback Original in 1988 and released in 1998 as a harback. This copy that I am listing, which is a paperback with the two part front cover, has been read very carefully. The book has some light pagedge soil, veryyyyy slight spine lean, light creases in the spine area. It is a solid tight copy. If you like Vampire horror and have not read this book you are missing out on something special. This book will hook you on this series and you will be back for the remaining books in this series which now number around 10. A large paperback edition, over 500 pages and very hard to find in this condition.

A square tight solid clean un-read copy. This copy has been exposed to moisture near the heel of the spine resulting in stains along the bottom edge of the back side of the rear board, also the bottom edges of the three rear endpapers.There has been NO invasion of the text block. The 26.95 jacket has some light stains along the bottom edges in the same area mentioned above. A hardcover first edition that is a re-issue of the book that was released as a mass market paperback original in 1991. This is the first US hardback release of this title. Book four of one of the greatest Vampire series that has ever been written.
